Manuel J Fernandes passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 7, 2018 Born on June 25, 1940 in Madeira Portugal, to the late Joseph and Elisa ( Correira ) Fernandes He came to the United States at a young age . First to NewYork then to Stoughton Mass. and finally making Abington his home. He worked as a Mechanic then becoming co- owner of the Shell Service Station in Abington then the owner Billie goat gruff lounge in Whitman, He also was the owner of an auto parts store in Abington. He also enjoyed buying refurbishing and selling homes. He leaves to cherish his memories his daughters and thier husbands Grace and Daviid Coward, Lisa and Bobby Morse, Therese and Eucllides Tavares, His sons Joseph Fernandes, Michael and Keri Fernandes, Jonathan Fernandes, His siblings Elise and her late husband Gus Campanario, Alice and Raul Costa Mary and Manuel Dasilva, John and the late Patrica Fernandes. He was the proud Grandpa to his Grand,Great and Great Great Grandchildren. He is also survived a host of other Family and Friends. He was the Father of the late Michelle Fernandes and Lori Fernandes Brother of the late David Fernandes.
