Obituary

Manuel F. Guerreiro, age 85, of Brockton, died August 7, 2018 at Brockton Hospital. Manuel was the loving husband for 60 years of Marinha (DaSilva) Guerreiro. Born, raised and educated in Vale Do Alganduro, Portugal, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (Custodia) Guerreiro. In 1975 Manuel moved to the United States and had been a resident of Brockton. He was been employed by Faro Concrete Construction/Algar Construction for many years as a heavy equipment operator. He was a quiet man who loved to garden and care for all animals. For many years he enjoyed vacations to Portugal to visit family and friends.

Manuel is also survived by his son and best friend, Porfirio Guerreiro of Brockton and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Antonio and Serafina Guerreiro and Maria Da Encarnacao all of Portugal.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday, August 13, from 9-10:30am. A funeral Mass will be held in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 11am, followed by burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
