Margaret M. (Egan) Andreasse, 83, of Hanover, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health.

Born May 6, 1940 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Leo F. Egan and Jeannette (Handran) Egan. Raised in Boston she graduated from St. Gregory's High School in 1958.

Margaret was a homemaker for most of her life for which she took pride in raising her four children. She returned to the workforce after many years to The New England telephone company until her retirement in 1990.

She loved the beach and collecting seashells from her favorite beaches. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends. She was an avid reader and loved the Hallmark Channell but most especially enjoyed anything involving her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Donna Malley, John Andreasse and his wife Colleen, Diane Gangi and her husband Jeff and Christine Mungovan and her husband Brendan; her nine grandchildren, Austin, Morgan, Jessy, Rob, Nicholas, Meghan, Joseph, Elise and Dominic; her siblings, Ralph Egan and Leo "Butch" Egan and his wife Susan; she is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, too many friends to count and the caregivers she had Robin, Phyllis, Lisa, Shirley, Kathy, Katie and cousin Anne.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) on Tuesday, June 20th at 10:00AM thence to St. Basil Chapel (Bridgewater State University), 122 Park Ave., Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 11:00AM. Interment will be private. Calling hours in the funeral home on Monday from 4:00-7:00PM.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's name may be made to St. Jude Hospital.
