Obituary

Margaret M. (Gould) Cashman, age 97, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, died November 12, 2011 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation-Sachem. She was the wife of the late George E. Cashman. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Byrne) Gould. A lifelong resident of Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton High School class of 1932. For many years she worked as a bookkeeper at the former Sameco Company in Campello. She had also worked at JJ Taylor Distributer & Verde Shoe in Stoughton and Self Help in Brockton. She enjoyed traveling and had been a longtime communicant of St. Margaret Church; a past member of the Brockton Garden Club and Brockton Senior Citizens.

She is survived by two sons Joseph E. Cashman and his wife Diane of West Bridgewater and Richard F. Cashman of Middleboro; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Private family services were held followed by her burial in Calvary Cemetery.
