Faherty of Brockton March 24, 2007 Margaret B. (Manning) Faherty 83 years. Wife of the late James D. Faherty. Mother of Margaret Stephanou of Boylston; James D. Faherty, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM; Vincent E. Faherty of Raynham; Kathleen Speredelozzi of W. Bridgewater; Mary Tarkanian of Brockton; Dr. Ellen Faherty of Alfred, NY; Mark F. Faherty of Holland, PA; Nora Rastetter of Perkasie, PA and John F. Faherty of Philadelphia, PA. Grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 7. Sister of Helen Wiencek of Dorchester; Nora Boyle, Thomas and William Manning all of Milton and the late Irene Flaherty, Nora Fasano, Mary Daley and Patrick Manning.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday 9:30 to 10:15 am. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 11:30 am. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. Obituary

Margaret B. (Manning) Faherty 83 years died Saturday morning at the Blue Hill Alzheimer Care Center after a lengthy illness. She was born and raised in South Boston a daughter of the late Patrick and Nora (Conroy) Manning. Since 1988 she had been a resident of Brockton having previously lived 18 years in Philadelphia, PA.
During WWII Mrs. Faherty had worked at the Gillette Company in South Boston manufacturing airplane parts. She was then a stay at home mother and raised her large family.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and bowling.
She is survived by her nine children Margaret Stephanou of Boylston; James D. Faherty, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM; Vincent E. Faherty of Raynham; Kathleen Speredelozzi of W. Bridgewater; Mary Tarkanian of Brockton; Dr. Ellen Faherty of Alfred, NY; Mark F. Faherty of Holland, PA; Nora Rastetter of Perkasie, PA and John F. Faherty of Philadelphia, PA. Grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 7. Sister of Helen Wiencek of Dorchester; Nora Boyle, Thomas and William Manning all of Milton and the late Irene Flaherty, Nora Fasano, Mary Daley and Patrick Manning.
She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
