Margaret Ella Lane Margaret Ella Lane , 66, of Brockton, died Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Milton Hospital after a period of failing health. Born May 16, 1940 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Edward Lane and Rosa (D'Almeida) Lane. A lifelong resident of Brockton she graduated from Brockton High School. Margaret was a retired shoeworker where she worked for Foot Joy Company for 35 years. She was very active in the Sullivan Tower Activities. She was an avid reader and loved movies. She is survived by her brother, Steven E. Cruz (Director of the Brockton Redevelopment Authority) and his wife Judith of Brockton; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
