Obituary

Margaret J. “Peggy” McGrath, age 71, of Abington, formerly of Brockton, died peacefully, August 8, 2021 at Colony Center for Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late William P. and Rosamond M. (Keefe) McGrath. Peggy was a graduate of Brockton High School, and worked at Brockton City Hall.
Peggy had a deep faith and enjoyed watching soap operas.

Peggy was the sister of John P. McGrath and his wife Maryann of Coconut Creek, FL, Patricia Michaud and her husband Henry of Coral Springs, FL, Joan Abel and her husband David of Plymouth and the late Anne McGrath. She is also survived by her longtime companion, Max Elser; nephews Joseph, and William Michaud, Brandon Abel and niece Brianna Abel.

Private services have been held at Calvary Cemetery.
