Margaret (Campanella) Poli
, 82, of Brockton, died Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Southeast Rehabilitation Skilled Care Center in Easton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Joseph Poli.
Born May 8, 1927 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Rocco Campanella and Rosina (Costa) Campanella. Raised in Boston, she graduated from Donald McKay High School.
Mrs. Poli was a Seamstress and had worked for several different Bridal Stores in Brockton. She was a communicant of St. Colman Church in Brockton and also volunteered at the church. She enjoyed arts crafts, traveling, jigsaw puzzles, and the opera. She has been a Brockton resident since 1962.
She is survived by her children, Joseph M. Poli, Dennis R. Poli, and Michele R. Poli all of Brockton; her grandchildren, Melissa Poli, Kimberly Monsini, Nicholas Poli, and Brandon Poli; her great-granddaughter, Samantha Poli. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jennie Rinaudo, Mary LaVoie, Josephine Coscia, Frances Taylor, and Ann Ramer.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, June 8th at 8:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein Parish/St. Edward Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Sunday 2:00-6:00PM .
