Online Obituaries Margaret Thelma (Morse) Somes, affectionately known as Peggy, Ma and Nana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving companion of Thomas Hudson for many years. Peggy was the daughter of the late Frank and Grace (Basden) Morse. She was born in Stoughton and raised in Brockton where she attended school. She was the wife of the late Selwyn Somes, Sr. and former wife of the late Bertram Heath. As a young lady Peggy worked in a shoe factory and was a housekeeper for the late Judge Lawton. She was also a housewife raising her children. Peggy enjoyed fishing, camping, animals, crocheting, reading her favorite magazines and babysitting, and most importantly being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her loving companion Tom, she leaves to cherish her memories and continue her legacy, her daughters, Lois Chesko, Grace Heath, Bette Carmona and her husband Miguel, and Michelle Hanna;her sons Bertram Heath, Sr., Selwyn Somes, Jr. and his wife Melissa and Thomas Somes; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hoey, David Hoey, Gina Carpenter, AJ Rivera, Tony Rivera, Rosita Rivera, Ruben Rivera, Jr., Angela O'Donovan, Krystal Bagorio, Faith Heath, Devin Varao, McKenzie Heath, Bertram Heath, Jr., Cynthia Hanna, John Hanna, Joey Somes, Anthony Casey and AJ Casey; her twenty-nine great grandchildren; her sisters, Grace McCarthy, Leona Hathaway and her husband David, Linda Osborne, Bette Gisetto and her husband John, Cindi Minkle and her husband James, Gloria Sullivan and her husband Larry; her brother Fred Morse and his wife Dianna.She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. She was the grandmother of the late Zachary Heath and great-grandmother of the late Dez'Mani Rivera, Yaz'Lina Rivera and Jayliana Rivera. She was the sister of the late Frank Morse, Edward Morse and Thomas Morse. Dear Sweet Peggy Sue, sleep on and get your rest for we all loved you dearly but GOD loves you best.
