Obituary

Margaret V. "Maggie" Streeter, 73 years, of Brockton, died February 16, 2009. Born and raised in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Catherine V. (Mahar) Streeter and sister of the late William J. Streeter Jr. She attended Taunton public schools and was a 1961 graduate of the Morton Hospital School of Nursing. Margaret had been employed as a nurse for over 26 years at various nursing homes and as a private duty nurse in the Brockton area. Most of her life was devoted to taking care of the elderly. She was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts and was a member of Sullivan Towers Tenant’s Association. She is survived by her childhood friends Marie Gildea and Terri Peck of Taunton and dear friends Diane Frazier and Elizabeth Riordan of Brockton and Monica Johnson of Bridgewater.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish/St. Colman Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 2-4pm.
