Obituary

Margarita Simon Castro, age 88, of Brockton, died peacefully at her home on June 7, 2022. Margarita was the wife of the late Luis Rivera. Born and raised in Ancash, Peru, she was the daughter of the late Rolando Simon and Cirila Castro.

Margarita was always happy and generous to others. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, dancing and sewing, but most of all spending time with her family.

Margarita is survived by her daughter Flor Camacho of Brockton and her grandchildren Joel Hans Camacho, Jonathan Camacho, Jhosseline Camacho, Jordan Camacho and James Camacho.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, on Thursday, June 9, from 4-5pm, followed by a funeral service at 5pm. Margarita will be buried in Peru at a later date.
