Marguerite L. Eaton, 94 of Brockton, formerly of South Boston, originally from Gardner, MA passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Brockton Post Acute Care.

Daughter of the late Everett and Geraldine (Truman) Eaton. Beloved mother of Lisa Duncan of Avon. Loving stepmother of Frank Gutkey and wife Sheila of Worcester, and the late Raymond Gutkey. Cherished grandmother of Kaitlyn Duncan of Avon, Laura Harwood of Worcester, Lester Ryan of Springfield, Amy Nelson and husband Mike of Dudley, Stacy Gutkey of Worcester, and Daniel Gutkey and wife Samantha of Johnston, RI. She leaves behind 8 great grandchildren as well as 3 great-great grandchildren. Survived by brother David Eaton and sister Rosalie Tallman and her husband Gordon. Sister of the late Helen Babcock, Everett, Roger, Kenneth, Douglas, Robert, and Richard Eaton. Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Marguerite enjoyed doing her crossword puzzles and playing bingo. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday September 26, in the Grace and Hope Mission, 1900 Columbus Ave, Roxbury. A service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grace and Hope Mission, 1900 Columbus Ave, Roxbury.
