Obituary

Maria C. Andrade, age 72, of Brockton, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Morton Hospital in Taunton. Born in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Angelina (Tavares) Andrade. She worked as insurance agent at HUB International in Norwell for many years before retirement.

Maria was an independent, smart, and very loving person. An avid home décor collector, she also enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two siblings, Antonio Andrade of Brockton, and Cidalia Allen of Sagamore Beach; and her nieces, Kerri Butler, Jennifer Doyle, Shyla Bodge, Kristy Allen, and Kacey DaSilva.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 9:30 am, for a committal service at 10:30 am, in Calvary Cemetery, N. Cary Street, Brockton.
