Maria Cardoza Maria Goncalves Cardoza, 106, of Brockton, died Sunday morning, July 8, 2007 at her home in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Manuel Joze Cardoza. Born October 5, 1900 in Fogo, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Monteiro Massedo and Leopoldinha Lopes Goncalves. Mrs. Cardoza was a Seamstress and had been living in Brockton for the last 7 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and telling stories. She is survived by her daughter, Isabel C. Perry of Brockton; she is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Manuel A. Goncalves. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, July 11th at 9:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St Edith Stein Parish/St Edward Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:00AM.
