Maria M. Correa, 77, of Brockton, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. Born March 5, 1945 in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Virgillio Antonio Andrade and Georgina Gomes Lima. Loving mother of Osvoldo Gomes of Florida, Raquel Gomes of North Carolina, and the late Roberto Correa. Loving Sister of Ilda Barros, Antonio Alves, Laurinda Alves, Gabriel Alves, Carlos Alves, Maria Pires, and the late Jose Alves. Loving grand-mother of Nick Gomes, Jacquelina Gomes, Lanai Taylor, Brandon Gomes, Dillon Gomes, Roberto Neves, Roberto Zane Correa, and Roger Jones. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. Maria was known for her incredible sense of humor, love of laughter, dancing, and spending time with her family. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, July 30th at 9:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:00AM.
