Born January 6, 1929 in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Joaquim Gomes and Teresa (Ramos) Gomes. Maria was a homemaker. She loved to cook and spend time with her loving family. She is survived by her children, Teresa Pina, Guilherme Pina, Lucas Pina, Maria Miranda, Domingos Pina, Domingas Ferreira, Odette Alves, Alberto DePina, Manuel Lopes, Maria DosSantos; 67 Grandchildren; 75 Great- Grandchildren. She is also survived by her niece Dulce Barbosa and her nephew Gabriel Barbosa. Funeral Information A Funeral Service will be held on Monday December 14th at 10:00AM, at the Central United Methodist Church, 65 W.
