Obituary

Maria Colombina Mordan De Mejia, age 55, of Brockton, formerly of the Dominican Republic, passed away on August 16, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ocoa, Dominican Republic and resided in Brockton for the past six years.

Maria had a strong work ethic and worked hard to provide for her family. She enjoyed attending family events and gatherings.

A loving and caring person, Maria’s family was the center of her life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 10:00 am, in Saint Patrick Church, 335 Main Street, Brockton (Relatives and friends are asked to kindly meet directly at the church) Interment will be privately held.
