Maria M. Rodriguez

Maria M. Rodriguez (Morales) age 76, of Brockton, passed away on May 2, 2026, at Boston Medical Center – South in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Evelio Rodriguez.

Born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Jose Morales and Anna D. Mercado.

Maria worked as a seamstress for many years.

Some of her interests include her love for cooking, playing bingo, and Sunday dinners with her family. She was the most loving and giving person who took care of others before herself. Maria also had a great sense of humor and was a woman of faith.

She is survived by her children, Claribel Rodriguez and her husband Rafael of Florida, Evelio Rodriguez, Jr. of Columbus, OH, Edgardo Rodriguez and his wife Leslie of North Attleboro, Maribel Rodriguez of Brockton, and Miguel A. Rodriguez of Piney Point, MD; her brothers Jose R. Morales, Jose J. Morales, Waldmar Morales, and Edwin Morales; her grandchildren Evelio Rodriguez, III, Jesus Javier Rivera, Yessenia Rivera, Vanessa Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Yahaira Rodriguez, Esmariah Serrano, Desire Rodriguez, Sophia Rodriguez, and Jaxon Rodriguez; many great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 5-8 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 11:00 am, in the funeral home followed by burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne.
