Born May 17, 1935 in Tripi, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore Presti and Ana (Bonanno) Presti. She is survived by her children, Francesco Salamone, Alberto Salamone and Salvatore Salamone; her grandchildren, Sonia Salamone, Ariana Salamone, Julie Salamone, Cristina MacDougall, Anthony Salamone and Melissa Salamone; her sisters, Carmela Scolaro and Dominica Munafo; she is also survived by her 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
