Maria Lopes Teixeira Maria Lopes Teixeira , 72, of Brockton, passed away Wednesday evening, March 11, 2009 at her son's home in Bridgewater. Born September 8, 1936 in Fogo, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Mario Jose Rodrigues and Maria Lopes Teixeira . Mrs. Teixeira enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to music. She was a communicant of St. Margarets Church and St. Edith Stein Parish. She is survived by her children, Alino Rodrigues, Margarida Rodrigues, and Socorro Rodrigues; her siblings, Maria Rodrigues, Estela Montrond, Balbina Miranda, and Jose Rodrigues; she is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, March 16th at 9:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:30AM.
