Altieri, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at South Shore Rehabilitation and Nursing center in Rockland, at the age of 84 after a long illness. Born in Brockton, Marie was the daughter of the late Eleanor and Charles Altieri. She was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1947. Prior to her retirement, she worked 30 years as a secretary for the Brockton School Department. She was the past President and Member of the Junior Womens Club of Brockton when it was active in Brockton. Marie loved to shop at flea markets and yard sales. Marie is survived by her brother, Charles Altieri of Brockton; her sisters, Sandra Dion of Whitman and Dolores Kelliher of Norwood. She was the sister of the late Henry and Michael Altieri of Brockton. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, February 28th from 11:00AM-12:00PM followed by a funeral service at 12:00PM.
