Marie (Miller) Angelo
, 87, of Brockton and formerly of Easton, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2011 at the Rose Monahan Hospice House in Worcester after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Francis J. Angelo.
Born November 19, 1923 in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Glen Miller and Beatrice (Hatch) Miller-Ricker. Marie came to the United States as an infant she graduated from Oliver Ames High School in Easton. She enjoyed attending many of her class reunions.
She worked for Stanley Home Product, HOP Home Parties, HW Mold, The Enterprise Newspaper, she also enjoyed working the polls during election time.
She was a member of the Canadian Club where she served as President and Chaplan, member of Eastern Star, member of Central United and Pearl Street Methodist Church of Brockton. She was active in the Brockton Hospital Charity Guild where she had performed in their variety shows and musicals. She served on the Board of Directors and social committee for Brockton Youth Hockey.
She enjoyed vacationing at her home in Ellenton, Florida, playing bingo, crosswords, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and was an avid sports fan. She most of all enjoyed dining with her family and friends during holiday gatherings.
She is survived by her children, Glenna Angelo of Brockton, Lynne Crandall of West Boylston and Glen Miller Angelo and his wife Stefani of Brockton; her grandchildren, Heather Doten, Keith Angelo, Gary Ross Crandall, Kristin Crandall, Stephanie Angelo, Brooke Angelo, Farrah Angelo and Sebastian Divivo; her great-grandchildren, Anna, Conner, Aaron and Evan; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Stanley Ray Miller.

Funeral service in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Wednesday 6:00-9:00PM.
