Online Obituaries Marie C. Eugene, 67, of Brockton, formerly of Boston, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Norwood Hospital. She was the wife of Rene P. Eugene. Born August 29, 1949 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti she was a daughter of the late Jeane Michel. Raised and educated in Port-au-Prince, Haiti Marie immigrated to the United States and came to Boston in 1972. She later moved to Brockton in 1994. Marie worked for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston for many years. She was a communicant of St. Angela's Parish in Boston and more recent Christ the King Parish in Brockton. She is survived by her husband, Rene P. Eugene, her children, James Hercule, Edwidge L. Hercule, Sherline Eugene, and Rene P. Eugene, Jr. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
