Obituary

Marie A. Collot, age 71, of Hyde Park, died on Monday, February 6, 2023. Born and raised in Mirebalais, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Simeon Etienne and Julienne Collot. Marie came to the United States 50 years and made her home in Hyde Park. Marie was an Entrepreneur and for 20 years worked at the Fernald State School.

Marie loved the Lord and her church and was an active member of the Women’s Ministry at Tabernacle Baptist Congregation in Roslindale. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and traveling throughout the world. She found great joy in helping and supporting other family members coming to America.

Marie is survived by her children Magda Marseille of Holbrook, Marcopolo Marseille of Hyde Park and Judeth Marseille Romain of Holbrook; sister of Marie Klyde George of Easton, Marking Pierre-Louis of Quincy and Claudia Pierre-Louis of Randolph. She was the loving grandmother of Ella Joi Romain.

Visitation will be held at the Tabernacle Baptist Congregation, 575 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA on Saturday February 18, 2023 from 8:30am to 9:30am followed by the Funeral Service. Burial in St. Michael Cemetery 500 Canterbury Street Roslindale.
