Obituary

Marie H. (Nesseralla) Eckstein, age 83, of Brockton, passed away at Heights Crossing, on January 11, 2016. She was the loving wife of the late James B. Eckstein. Born and raised in Brockton, Marie was the daughter of the late Peter and Jessie (Bourjailly) Nesseralla. Marie was an avid reader and enjoyed painting. She had been employed as an Executive Secretary for the Government for many years and travelled extensively to all parts of the world. When she retired, she and her husband built a home in Front Royal, VA where they lived until Marie got ill and they had to move to an assisted living facility in Brockton with memory care. Marie is survived by a sister in law Mary Nesseralla of Brockton and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Evelyn O’Neil, Edward, Helen, Henry, Frederick and Richard Nesseralla.

Visitation for family and friends will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday, January 22, 2016 at 9am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church at 10am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
