Obituary

The world hasn't heard the last of a golden trumpet that is Marie Roseline Bellabe Jean-Baptiste, better known as Roseline. Gone but not forgotten, her bold and yet compassionate love reverberates in the hearts of all those who she fellowship with. To her children she was a white knight that drew her own golden carriage. She was a Light, a pillar of Hope and Strength. Roseline was born on August 3, 1957 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to Marie Louise Jeanne Samedi, a seamstress and specialist in Domestic Economy and Father Louis Nicolas Ally Bellabe a Principal at Centre d'Apprentissage de St Martin in Port-Au–Prince. She acquired the values of unconditional Love when her mother's best friend Clerzulie Vales whom she called "Manman". Clerzulie Vales stepped in as an adoptive mother to raise Roseline as her biological mother worked long and far to provide for the family. As the days leading to her death, she is known in her community for her adept skill as an Event Planner. Steadfast in her faith, Roseline served at her church, then Sacred Heart to now Christ the King Parish for over 20years. She believed life should always be worthy of praise and led with gratitude. She believed in uplifting and highlighted the beauty in those around her. With her education in cosmetology she often accommodated odd working hours in order to beautifully groom the crown of hair of those in her community. Among Many left to cherish her memories are her five children Patricia Bellabe–Lorre, Vadye R. Raymond, Carlie Raymond, Steve–Carol Raymond, Christina Bellabe-Raymond. Moise Lorre, Victor Maldonado, Leonel Jean and Yomaira Morales her beloved Sons and Daughter-In-Law. Her twelve grandchildren who she travelled often to fill their hearts with love and prayer and kept their bellies full. No birthday went uncelebrated, to them she will forever be remembered as "Manmo". They are Faith Maldonado, Isaac Jean, Elijah Jean, Timothy Jean, Azariyah Raymond, Hope Maldonado, Ezra-Marie Raymond, Noah Bellabe-Lorre, Joshua Jean, Yiselle Raymond, Asher Jean, Daiyara Raymond. She was also Mom to her God-Children, (Magalie Apollon–Romeus, Francois Augustin, Briana Province, Sofie Kerly Raymond-Gervald She made certain to leave a lasting impact and send a message that Love knows no distance. She was Tati, Manmi Roro, Soeur Rose, cousine, macome, nennen and so much more. She is now more than a star in the night sky. She is the wind beneath our wings. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 10:30AM at Christ The King Parish, 54 Lyman Street, Brockton. Burial will be PRIVATE.
