Obituary

Marie C. Murphy, age 63 of Fall River, formerly of Brockton, died unexpectedly on January 3, 2024 at St. Anne’s Hospital. Marie was the loving fiancée of Michael F. Mirabito. She was born, raised and educated in Boston, daughter of the late Shirley Murphy.

Marie had a heart of gold, she enjoyed cooking and arts and crafts. She liked hosting gatherings, spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She enjoyed celebrating the holidays with family. Some of her favorite pastimes were listening to the oldies and watching her favorite show, Law and Order.

Marie was the mother of James and Michael Vigo of New York, Sheanna Vigo of Boston and Marilyn Vigo of Worcester; grandmother of Mikhye, Julianna, Lily, Jeremiah, Maelana, Destiny, Jayden, Arianna, Jaiyonny, Nyilaya and Jaliyah. She is also survived by her sister Theresa and her niece Amirees.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, on Sunday, January 14, from 12-3pm, followed by a funeral service at 3pm.
