Obituary

Marie Esther Rene age 89 of Brockton died December 27, 2013 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. She was born November 15, 1924 in Jeremie, Haiti and immigrated to the United States 29 years ago. She became a U.S citizen in 2007, was able to vote for the first U.S African American president.

Marie loved to cook and made dinner every Sunday. She appreciated family to the utmost extent
and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by 1 sister, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Friday January 3, 2014 from 6-9 pm. Please join her family Saturday at 9 am at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church 900 Main Street, Brockton for her Funeral Service.
