(Carbonara) Schofield, 78, of Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Dean H. Schofield. Born April 25, 1937 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Pasqual Carbonara and Josephine (Spadea) Carbonara. Raised in Brockton, she attended Brockton Schools. Marie was a greeter at Walmart for many years. She lived in Hernando, Florida for 15 years. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid New England Patriots Fan. She is survived by her children, Paula A. Pearson and her husband Glenn of Whitman, Ronald C. Zinkevicz, Jr. and his wife Mary of Pembroke, Lu-Ann Bodio and her husband Thomas of East Bridgewater, Alyce Vallee and her husband Robert of Middleboro and Kelly Schofield and her fianc Derek Fuller of Brockton; her grandchildren, Anna-Marie Folan, Jenna Lynn Pearson, Tracy Ann Pearson, Marci Jean Pearson, Lindsey May Bhaumik, Brian Carl Zinkevicz, Stephanie Bodio, Brianna Kenneally, Julianne Bodio, Katrina Vallee, Kyle Vallee, Dominic Fuller and Mackenzie Fuller; her great-grandson, Liam Kenneally; her siblings, Claire Harvey, Barbara McEntee, Lucille Sedani, Carol DaSilva, Patricia Blanchard, Deborah Perham and Perry Carbonara, she is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, several nieces and nephews and Max, Molly and Minnie. She was the mother of the late Judy Ann Zinkevicz and sister of the late Joseph, Richard and Ronald Carbonara. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 3rd at 9:30AM thence to Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:30AM.
