Obituary

Marie E. (LaBollita) Tassinari age 59, of Brockton, died Monday October 6, 2014 at Signature Healthcare-Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late David G. Tassinari. She was born in South Boston a daughter of Agnes and Antonio LaBollita and was raised in Brockton by her father and her “second” mother Joni LaBollita of Norton, after the death of her mother.
Marie had been a manager of Peaceful Meadows in Whitman for many years. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. Marie loved her husband more than life itself and was devoted to her family.
Marie was the mother of KellyAnne Maguire and David Tassinari both of Brockton and step mother of Timothy and Gina Tassinari both of Franklin. She was the grandmother of Dylan and Cailey Maguire and sister of Frances O’Neil of Abington, Gloria Luongo and Tony LaBollita both of Brockton, Stephen LaBollita of Norton and Gail Mocklin of Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123) Brockton on Monday 4-7 pm. The procession will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 am for a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 10:30 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.
