Marie Verdier Marie Claire Verdier, 89, of Brockton, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Guardian Center in Brockton. Born November 19, 1921 in Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Obas and Marie Joseph. Marie was a retired clothing store owner. She enjoyed singing, cooking and sewing. She is survived by her daughter, Mary E. Britto-Matheus of Brockton.
