Marilyn Craig (Johnston) Leedberg, 79, of Brockton, MA, passed away on Wednesday, September 20,2023 peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family.

Marilyn was born on August 30, 1944 to Edwin Berce Johnston and Velma Doris (Rogers) Johnston.

After she graduated from Oliver Ames High, she went on to get a bachelor's degree in Education at Bridgewater State in 1966.

She started a woman owned small business in the 1980s after a career in teaching and School Administration, she opened her small bookkeeping firm doing tax prep and continued for more than 4 decades right up to shortly before her death.

In 1965, she married the love of her life Robert G Leedberg, 82, at Easton VFW. They had two children Tracey and Nancy.

Tracey's son Matthew who is third generation law enforcement and Tracey's daughter Courtney who is a real estate agent and married to Johon Tejeda and they have two girls of their own, Jalyssa and Jaselenna.

Nancy's Son Eric is a supervisor at Costo and is finishing his degree in Social Work at Marilyn's alma mater.

Family was everything for Marilyn and she loved to spend time with her family including her sister in law Lorraine and Linda. She enjoyed bingo and loved going to the Casino. She enjoyed vacationing lake side. Birthdays we're always a special time to her and she liked to celebrate with Italian Kitchen takeout and cake and ice cream. Marilyn was a lifelong learner; she enjoys puzzles and playing cards and throwing parties and entertaining relatives.

Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Sunday, September 24th from 4;00PM-6:00PM.  Private cremation will follow.
