Obituary

Marilynn A. (Tillson) Vacchino, age 66, of Brockton, died April 8, 2014 at New England Sinai Hospital following a period of failing health. She was the wife of Richard C. Vacchino, Sr. Marilynn was born, raised and educated in Brockton, daughter of the late Robert M. and Mary (Fahey) Tillson. Marilynn had been employed at Franklin Manufacturing Company, United Machine Corporation, Haemonetics Corporation and Chadwick’s. She enjoyed camping and bike rides to the Cape. Marilynn was a caring, dedicated and loving wife, mother and friend.

In addition to her husband of 51 years, she is survived by her children Sherry Bliss and her husband Craig of Taunton, Carlo R. Vacchino, Derek J. Vacchino, Sr. and Lisa M. Vacchino all of Brockton; eight grandchildren, Richard L. Vacchino, Paul M., Eric N. and Nicole K. Bliss; Derek Jr., John A, Jayden RD, and Amanda L. Vacchino; two brothers Dennis and Kenny Tillson and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Richard C. Vacchino, Jr.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday 4-7pm.
