Obituary

Marinha (DaSilva) Guerreiro age 91 of Brockton, died September 7, 2023 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the devoted wife of Manuel Guerreiro for 60 years. Marinha was born, raised and educated in Carvalhal, Portugal and moved to the United States in 1975.

Marinha was a teacher in Portugal and enjoyed teaching the language to her family. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and most importantly she loved children. For many years she and her husband enjoyed vacations to Portugal to visit family and friends.

Marinha was the loving mother of Porfirio Guerreiro of Brockton and sister of Natalia Miguel and John daSilva both Portugal and the late Inacia Femiao, Maria Cruz, Abia daSilva, Solange daSilva and Simplicio daSilva.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont (rte.123) Brockton on Thursday September 14 from 9-10am followed by a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10:30am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
