Obituary

Mario Infussi Mario Infussi , 85, of Brockton, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton. Born January 2, 1926 in Providence, Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Angelo and Madeline (Bianchi) Infussi. He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II where he proudly served as a member of L.S.T 1024 seeing active service in the Philippines and Pacific Theater and participated in the Okinawa Shima L-Day Invasion. Mario relocated to Brockton after his marriage to his beloved wife Mary Vacca in 1950. He was a loving husband and father. In 1961 Mario founded CI Electric Company out of Campello a company which he owned and operated for over 50 years. He was also a lifelong member of the Conti Memorial Club. When he was not working Mario had many hobbies and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and all around handy man. On many sun filled weekends he could be found out on his boat in Plymouth Harbor or taking a Sunday drive with his family to one of his favorite eateries. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years, Mary (Vacca) Infussi; his three children, Patricia Conley and her husband James J. Conley, Jr. of Brockton, Richard Infussi and his wife Claire of Berkley, and Donna Cassaro and her husband Joseph of Easton; his five grandchildren, Alexis Conley, Christopher Conley, Nicole Cassaro, Joseph Cassaro and Ashley Infussi; his sister, Anna Gazzaerro and his several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Angelo "Al" Infussi. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT123) Brockton on Friday, June 3rd at 10:00AM thence to St. Ann's Church, 103 N. Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Thursday 4:00-7:00PM.
