Marion P. (Cahill) Catrone Marion Pauline (Cahill) Catrone, 78, of Brockton, passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 at her home under the care of her family and hospice. She was the wife of Angelo C. Catrone. Born in Roxbury, she was the daughter of the late William Cahill and Viola E. (Gilbert) Cahill. Marion was a long time employee of the Brockton Hospital where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for 29 years. She retired in 2001. Marion was an advocate for homeless animals. She enjoyed many trips to Foxwoods and playing cards with Millie, Betty, Lani, Linda and Karen. She has been a Brockton resident since 1969. Her family will miss her legendary Sunday dinners that they all enjoyed. She is survived by her husband, Angelo C. Catrone; her children, Paula M. Bethoney and her husband Paul of West Bridgewater, Catherine V. "Kate" Goodhue and her husband Alan of North Easton and Peter G. Catrone and his wife Rosemary of Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Joshua R. Bethoney and his wife Lindsay, Jessica T. Bethoney, Nicholas E. Bethoney, Jarred P. Goodhue, Brett G. Goodhue, Patrick D. Goodhue, Joshua A. Goodhue and his wife Alexis and Christopher C. Catrone; her great-grandchildren, Aiden Catrone and Lila R. Bethoney; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the foster mother of her late nephew, William Anderson and sister of the late Richard Cahill, Francis Cahill, Margaret Cahill, Dorothy Nigro and Virginia Cahill. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, October 28th at 8:00AM thence to Christ the King Parish(St. Colman Church), 42 Wendell Ave., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM.
