Santry of Brockton, March 13, 2006, Marion B. (Buckley) Santry, 93 years. Wife of the late Francis D. Santry. Mother of Marion McEwan, Patricia Florio, Francis “Tim” Santry and his wife Linda and Michael Santry and his wife Susan. Grandmother of Scott Florio and his wife Tara, Kate Florio, Francis “Tim” Santry, Jr. and his wife Heena, Sean Santry, Alison Santry and Matthew Santry and great grandmother of Sona Santry.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street(Rte 123)Brockton Thursday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. Obituary

Marion B. (Buckley) Santry, 93 of Brockton died at home Monday morning after a long and wonderful life. In recent weeks she had been cared for by her family with hospice support. She was the wife of the late Francis D. Santry for 46 years. Born October 16, 1912, Mrs. Santry was the daughter of the late John F. Buckley and Nora (Killory) Buckley. A lifelong Brockton resident, she was a 1929 graduate of Brockton High School and was employed by the New England Telephone Company for 37 years.
Mrs. Santry was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, former Eucharistic minister and early member of the Brockton Interfaith Community. She was an avid reader and enjoyed music and singing. She also enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox. At the age 85 obtained her first passport and traveled to Ireland to see the country of her ancestors.


She is survived by her children, Marion McEwan, Patricia Florio, Francis “Tim” Santry and his wife Linda, Michael Santry and his wife Susan, her grandchildren Scott Florio and his wife Tara, Kate Florio, Francis “Tim” Santry, Jr. and his wife Heena, Sean Santry, Alison Santry and Matthew Santry and a great granddaughter Sona Santry and many nieces and nephews.

Sister of the late Louise Crowley, Grace Buckley, Frank Buckley, Mildred Russell, John Buckley, Patricia Hanson, Martha Longe, Edna Reardon, Jeanne Smith, Gregory Buckley and Virginia DePaola.
