IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marion
Trent-Smith
August 5, 2021
Marion P. Trent- Smith, age 90, formerly of Brockton, passed away on August 5, 2021, after a period of failing health.
Residents of Ashley Manor-Harmony, in Boise, Idaho, Marion and her husband, Leon Smith were married for thirty years and resided in Boise after moving from Venice, Florida three years ago. A very humble woman with no frills, wherever she lived she spent her life as a homemaker, providing a comfortable home space where she enjoyed cooking. Her go-to cocktail was forever a sombrero and enjoyed many Frappuccino's from Starbucks.
She leaves her husband, Leon Smith and her two children. Her daughter, Cheryl Skinner, and her husband James, of Boise Idaho, and her son Mark S. Trent and his wife, Karen, of Sandwich, MA; her sister, Betty Van Buren, of California, and the late Barbara Leach; Five grandchildren, James Skinner, of Henderson, NV, Joseph Skinner, of Boise, ID, Matthew Trent, of NYC, Kara Trent, of Amsterdam, and the late Mark Anthony Trent (formerly of St. Petersburg, FL) four great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; as well as her dear friend, Carolyn Lane, Bothell, WA.
