Obituary

Marjorie E. (Livie) Barton, 82 years of Foxboro died Friday, October 22, 2004 at the Easton Lincoln Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Easton after a long illness. Daughter of the late George and Marjorie (Miller) Livie. She was born, raised and educated in Brockton and lived most of her life in Foxboro. She was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary in Foxboro. Mrs. Barton enjoyed performing in minstrel shows and was a former member of St. Mark’s Church in Foxboro.

She is survived by a son Bruce Dow of Roslindale, a daughter Lynne Thomas of Hyannisand a sister Marilyn Mariani of Brockton, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Chief Ralph F. Barton of the Foxboro Fire Dept. who died on duty in 1973 and mother of the late Janet Glaser.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday November 1, 2004 at 11 am in St. Mary Cemetery, Foxboro.
