Obituary

Marjorie A. (Lasota) Irving 57 years of Brockton died June 14, 2003 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a lengthy illness. For the past several years she has been a resident of the Campello High Rise.She was born in Portland, Maine the daughter of the late Bruno and Rose (Klim) Lasota and was raised in Bridgewater. She was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School and also attended Stonehill College.Mrs. Irving had worked for Lincoln Trust Bank in Hingham and the Boy Scouts of America.She was a Star Trek fanatic and enjoyed studying architecture. She also enjoyed reading science fiction and romance novels.She is survived by her son James Irving and his wife Becky of California and a close friend Kellie McCarthy of Brockton.Graveside services were held in Melrose Cemetery and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
