Marjorie Amanda Piesco (Bolinder), age 86, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020, at Life Care Center in West Bridgewater, MA. The family has planned a private funeral service for immediate family only at Russell & Pica Funeral Home. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a future date. The family is asking you to consider a donation, in lieu of flowers, to the activities department at the Life Care Center in West Bridgewater where she called home the last few years.
Marjorie was born on April 3rd, 1933, in Brockton Massachusetts to Leonard Bolinder and Mabel Sorenson both from Brockton. She was raised in Brockton and was a member of Brockton High School's class of 1951. In her life's journey, she met the love of her life on a blind date – Hamlet "Hal" Piesco and lived in the Bridgewater area as a life-long resident. She was a homemaker, in which, she was recognized as a homemaker of the year by the Brockton Enterprise. She loved playing Scrabble and Cribbage where she experienced an amazing and rare thrill of having a perfect cribbage scoring hand of 29. In addition, she loved cooking, traveling, needlework, and crossword puzzles.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Hal, her parents Leonard and Mabel, 10 Siblings – Phyllis Hitchcock, Eileen Nilsson, Doris Dalton, Norman Bolinder, Russell Bolinder, Patricia DeCosta, Arthur Bolinder, Ralph Bolinder, Stanley Bolinder, and Robert Bolinder, and her Grandson Matthew Crump.
Marjorie is survived by her children Brad Piesco and wife Marie, Robert Piesco and wife Nancy, Kenneth Piesco and wife Patti, Lynne Crump and husband Ron, and Mark Piesco and wife Carole. Along with a full house of 13 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren with two more on the way, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild, in addition to many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie leaves behind a legacy of spunk, survival, laughter, and love. We are forever grateful for the time we had with her and the memories we will pass on to the next generations of her family tree.
Private family funeral services were held with burial in Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater.
