Obituary

Mark E. Gomes age 59 of Brockton died unexpectedly October 10, 2010. He was the longtime companion of Phyllis Geloran. Mark was born in Brockton a son of Peter Gomes of Brockton and the late Alice Thomas and was a graduate of Brockton High School. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and worked for many years at Pixley-Richards Machine in Plymouth. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and being outdoors with his family.
Mark leaves a daughter Dawn Geloran, two step-sons Steven and David Geloran and many grandchildren. He was the brother of Billy Gomes.
Memorial Service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday noon to 1 pm. Burial Monday Oct. 25 at 1 pm at the Mass National Cemetery in Bourne.
