Mark Peter Fandrich, 43, of East Bridgewater, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 21, 2021.
Born in Stoughton on February 23, 1978, he was the son of Hans Otto Fandrich and Patricia M. (Patricelli) Fandrich. Mark was raised in Bridgewater and graduated from Bristol-Plymouth Technical High School with the class of 1996.
For all those who knew Mark, they knew he had a love for classic cars, fast cars and his dad's old Chevy pickup that he spent most of his high school years and beyond restoring. Mark worked at Collision 24 for 17 years where he was a foreman in the autobody shop. He had a passion and talent for his profession.
Mark was a huge Bruins fan and NHRA racing fan. Mark loved kids and when in his company he became a big kid himself. He was very stubborn and when coerced he decided to finally try dating again. He met the love of his life and they were planning to wed on October 22, 2022. Although he left us, thankfully he left her for us.
In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his fiancé Carolyn Ball; his sister Kimberly (Fandrich) Panos and her husband Kevin; his grandmother Mary Nordgren; his niece Caidyn and nephews Camden, Dustin and Dillon. Mark also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents Otto and Elizabeth Fandrich and Robert Nordgren.
This loss is immeasurable but Mark would not want us to stand here and cry, he would want us to crack a Corona, light the grill, put on NHRA drag racing and just carry on.
Calling hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 S. Main St., (Rt.28) West Bridgewater on Monday, October 25th from 3:00-7:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 7:00PM
