Hill of Brockton September 7, 2004, Mark Stephen Hill, 48 years. Husband of Christine (Wood) Hill. Son of John J. and Ruth M. (Gavin) Hill of So. Daytona, Florida. Father of Michelle and Laura Hill both of California. Stepfather of Bobbi Jo Pratt of Marshfield. Brother of James “Jimmy Hill of Florida.

A Memorial Gathering will be held in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday 5-8pmwith a Prayer Service at 7:30 pm. Burial in Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland Tuesday at 11 am.

Obituary

Mark S. Hill died Tuesday at Easton Lincoln Rehabilitation & Nursing Center after a period of failing health. Born in Weymouth and educated in Rockland, son of John J. and Ruth M. (Gavin) Hill. Resident of Brockton for the past five years previously lived in Daytona Beach, Florida. He had been a chef at Christo’s Restaurant and in Florida. He enjoyed water-skiing, boating and swimming.

He is survived by his wife Christine (Wood) Hill of Brockton, his parents, John J. and Ruth M. (Gavin) Hill of So. Daytona, Florida, two daughters, Michelle and Laura Hill both of California, a stepdaughter Bobbi Jo Pratt of Marshfield, a brother James “Jimmy Hill of Florida and several aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.
