Farrell of Centerville formerly of Brockton November 29, 2004 Marlene E. (Yesonis) Farrell 71 years. Beloved wife of Philip P. Farrell. Loving sister of Ann Mandeville of Brockton; Phyllis Vanderstreet of Humarock; Albina Sviokla and Albert Yesonis both of Brockton.
A private service will be held Friday in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St., Brockton followed by burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, Boston. Visiting hours are omitted. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date at Our Lady of Victory Church, Centerville.
Obituary
Mrs. Farrell died Monday evening in Hyannis following a lingering illness. She was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late Alexander and Pauline (Skendulis) Yesonis. Following her graduation from Brockton High School she was a legal secretary for Attorneys Reservitz & Steinberg. Later in her career she became the director of the Adult Day Care Center at the Lutheran Home in Brockton. She relocated to Cohasset and became finance officer at the Scituate Driftway Manor Nursing Center. After retiring to the Centerville 12 years ago she worked part time for Filenes in Hyannis.
She is survived her husband Philip P. Farrell; three sisters and a brother Ann Mandeville of Brockton; Phyllis Vanderstreet of Humarock; Albina Sviokla and Albert Yesonis both of Brockton.
She also leavesseveral nieces and nephews
