Obituary

Marlene R. (Sansom) White, age 78, of Easton died Tuesday, June 4, 2014 at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. She was born in Millville, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Charles E. and Esta (Crause) Sansom. At the age of 21, she moved to Boston and had been a resident of Brockton since 1978 when she moved to Easton. Marlene was a strong, driven and independent woman who raised her sons as a single Mom. She enjoyed the outdoors, biking, walking and going to the beach in Scituate and she was most proud of seeing her sons’ successes in life.
Marlene is survived by three sons, Charles White of Easton; Jeffrey White of W. Bridgewater and Daniel White and his wife Susan of Brockton; 12 grandchildren and a sister Lorraine Freeman of Nacawic, New Brunswick, Canada.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Sunday 2-4pm with a funeral service at 4pm. Cremation will follow.
