Online Obituaries Martin Marty John Feroli, 91 of Brockton passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was married to his beloved wife Viola (Celia) Feroli for 68 years. Born October 16, 1925 in Brockton, MA he was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Nardi) Feroli. Marty was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1943. He was a World War II, US Navy/Marine Corp Veteran. He was a member of the 1st Marine Division Association. He was also a life member of DAV, VFW and Italian American Vets. He was a member of the Brockton Rotary Club, being a Paul Harris Award recipient. He was a dedicated parishioner of St. Edwards/St. Edith Stein Catholic Church. Marty worked for the City of Brockton, retiring in 1988 as the Superintendent of the Water Department. After retirement, he worked at Snow and Jones and Capeway Plumbing Supply. He was the past president of both the Plymouth County Water Works Association and City of Brockton Department Head Association. Marty was a huge sports fan and loved watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots from his recliner. He was most happy spending time with his wife and family. Sunday mornings were spent around the kitchen table with his grandkids telling jokes and stories of years past. He left a mark on everyone who knew him and will be missed by many. In addition to his wife, Marty is also survived by his children, Martin of Brockton, Gregory and his wife Jane of Bridgewater, Peter and his wife Susan of Agawam and the late Joseph Feroli. He leaves his grandchildren, Martin, Matthew, Gregory, Gianna and Jessica Feroli and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his best friend, David Clauretie. He was predeceased by his siblings, Carmela (Feroli) Rice, George Feroli, Joseph Feroli and Rose (Feroli) OBrien. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, April 20th at 9:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Wednesday in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00PM.
