Online Obituaries Mary A. Astore, 94, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at St. Joseph Nursing Home after a short period of failing health. Born April 2, 1918 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale Astore and Rachel (Tolo) Astore. A lifelong Brockton resident, she graduated from Brockton High School in 1936. Mary was a Supervisor at New England Telephone Company for several years. She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and traveling with Brockton Senior Citizens. She is survived by her brothers, Pal Astore and Gino Astore both of Brockton; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Julius Astore and Corrine Astore. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday from 9:45AM-10:30AM thence to St. Patrick Church, 335 Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
