Mary P. (Hurley) Bouffard

Feb., 4, 1937-July 24, 2023

On July 24, 2023 Pat, as she was fondly called, died peacefully, at her home of 59 years, from Alzheimer's Disease, at the age of 86.

Born in Boston, MA she was the only child of Mary G. (Molly Leonard) Hurley and Harold V. Hurley.

Pat was a 1955 graduate of Dorchester High School.

She was a wonderful and loving mother, totally devoted to her family, enjoyed shopping, loved cats and loved to laugh. Among all who knew her, she will be terribly missed.

She is survived by her beloved children Susan Wakefield and her husband Jim of Assonet, MA. Robert Bouffard, Jr. and his wife Kim of E. Bridgewater, MA. Her husband Robert W. Bouffard and youngest child, Jeanette P. Bouffard preceded her in death in early 2022 and late 2021, respectively.

Yee, is what her grandchildren lovingly called her, -- Leslie A. Wakefield, of Portland, OR, Russell J. Wakefield and his wife Megan of Dartmouth, MA, Philip S. Wakefield and his wife Briana of Brockton, MA. Mathew Bouffard and his wife, Caitlin of Middleboro, MA, Michael Bouffard and his wife, Shannon of Boone, N. Carolina and Julia and Rachel Bouffard of E. Bridgewater, MA. and her great-grandchildren, Oliver J., Ava S. and Makenna R. Wakefield of Dartmouth, MA and Nora M. Bouffard of Middleboro, MA.

A special and heartfelt thank you goes to her grandson, Philip and his wife, Briana who have lovingly cared for Yee, in her home, during her recent declining health and to a very special daughter-in-law, Kim who cared for Pat as if she were her own Mom.

Pat is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 30th from 1:00-4:00 PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 S. Main St., West Bridgewater. Interment will be held on Monday, July 31st in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:30 PM.
