Online Obituaries Mary L. (Wilkinson) Carroll, age 83, of Brockton, passed away on Monday evening, December 2, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late David W. Carroll. Born July 18, 1930 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. Wilkinson and Evelyn (Meehan) Wilkinson. Raised and educated in Brockton, she was a 1948 Graduate of Brockton High School. Mary continued her education and received a Bachelor's Degree from Framingham State University. She was a home economics teacher for the Brockton Public Schools for her entire career. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. After retiring, Mary and her husband, David, spent many happy years living on Cape Cod. Mary is survived by her daughters, Jane Crowley and husband Brian of Wellesley, Maryann Carroll of Hingham, Sara Carroll of Brockton and Tricia Cruise and husband David of Brockton; her six grandchildren, Colleen Kyrios, Christina Crowley, Ellen Crowley, Kathleen Crowley, Peter Cruise and Mary Kate Cruise; her sister, Jane Delea; her brother, Thomas Wilkinson; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Her funeral will be held from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, December 6th at 9:00AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton. Interment will be private.
